I live in Thame, am married and have two adult children and five grand-children.
I am a fully Accredited member of BACP (British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists) and am also a UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor.
I started my Counselling training in 1998 and hold the CPCAB's (Counsellors and Psychotherapists Central Awarding Body) Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling with additional training in both couples and bereavement work. I hold a Foundation Degree in Counselling, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Social Science with Social Policy and Psychology and a Diploma in Applied Social Science, all through the Open University. I completed an M.A. in Relational Counselling and Psychotherapy during 2017 and am currently a Doctoral candidate at the Metanoia Institute.
I offer counselling for a range of emotional issues to individuals and couples of any race, culture, religion or sexual orientation. I work with a broad range of issues on both a short and long term basis. I normally see clients in a dedicated room, at my home in Thame.
